The Company:
Our client, a growing multinational company offers industry leading solutions in many aspects of Engineering and Manufacturing with ambitious growth plans for the upcoming years.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and if possible improve the existing storage & backup solution
- Support operations team in problem resolution and RCA investigation if necessary
- Keep close contact with third party service providers and hardware & software providers
- Provide the necessary education to other IT personnel regarding the used tools and technologies
- Assist in Disaster Recovery planning, and also in the fulfillment of SLAs
- Documentation
Requirements:
- University or college degree, or relevant project experience
- Fluent English language skills
- Expert level knowledge of: SAN, NAS, Backup hardware and software Storage design, implementation and performance tuning
- Understanding of ITIL, LEAN concepts
- Knowledge of IBM and/or EMC Storage and Backup hardware & software is an advantage
- A minimum of 1-2 years Storage and/or Backup related experience, 2+ years of IT experience
