How would we sum up the post?

An excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly experienced sales and design team you will be involved in all aspects of sales support and administration with a strong emphasis on customer service and business development. You will have the support of the sales management and will be the initial point of contact for new customers which will include customer telephone communication, sales team support as well as managing customer expectations and timelines. You will also liaise with other departments to provide the customer with the best possible experience.

The business is Reflex Systems Limited, a security and safety systems specialist, but this is on a scale and scope well beyond simple house alarms. Our customers range from large security critical complex sites, such as the Olympic venues, airports, healthcare and education - through to smaller more specialised projects for high net worth individuals using latest generation products. We consult, design, source and install leading technologies to meet bespoke customer needs and deliver simple, integrated solutions to big complex problems. We are a well-established, knowledgeable, personable and down to earth organisation where team work and values are as much as part of the ethos as high personal standards and commitment to excellent work.

What would you be doing?

The person in this role will work with the sales team providing day to day administrative support to the customer, sales and design activities. Typical duties include:-

Managing the sales enquiry process in support of customer requirements and deadlines
Coordinate the day to day flow of paperwork and communication channels between the customer, sales & technical staff as well as other internal departments from prospecting to enquiry through to sales order processing
Research and evaluate new business opportunities
Maintain accurate information on accreditation web portals
Co-ordinate the completion of pre-qualification questionnaires
Pre and post sale customer communication including relationship management
Produce sales department reports
Management and development of customer databases
Compliance against the Company's quality management system and external accreditations

What type of person are we looking for?

A professional person with proven experience of working in a sales office, preferably within a contracting/service environment

4 GCSE's, grades C and above or equivalent including Maths and English
Educated to A-Level standard
Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft products and CRM systems, preferably
Sage ACT

Accurate typing and creative documentation presentation skills
Strong numeracy, analytical and organisational and written skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional telephone manner
Ability to influence and negotiate and find solutions
Able to prioritise, work to deadlines
Team player as well as being comfortable working independently
A driven , pro-active self-starter with lots of energy
Enjoy working within a busy environment

What are the practical details?

Starting salary: circa £16k

Start Date: Immediate

Permanent position

Working hours - 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday

Excellent working conditions and training provided

This role is responsible for handling sensitive information and therefore the successful candidate will be fully security screened.
