Ensure that all relevant Network Operations checks and tasks are completed with the maximum professionalism and attention to detail.
Respond to outages as the first line of technical support so minimising the impact on QOS, escalating on air issues to Engineering and management as appropriate.
Perform shift handover with incoming/outgoing NOC shift staff and read all previous shift reports to ensure full awareness of the current NOC status.
Logging service affecting events and on shift activities via the appropriate reporting methods.
Provide cover for the Network Operations Supervisor as and when required.
Assist in Live broadcast events such as the Oscars, Golden Globe etc.

Excellent communication skills including ability in written and spoken English.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team with Operations and support staff.
Ability to react to faults quickly with clear, professional judgement and perform effectively under pressure.
Clear understanding of broadcast technologies including tape/ & file based workflow and playout distribution technologies.
Experience of using Probel Morpheus automation an advantage.
Relevant Technical, IT or Engineering qualification desireable but not essential.
At least 3 working days in a week.
