A Senior Java Developer role is open at our dynamically growing client which deals with unique HW/SW development in fleet management. Their work involves the whole portfolio of product management: Research and Development, manufacturing, sales and support. Due to their quick and successful growth their results are recognized internationally with various awards. Due to their constant product innovation they are looking for experienced Senior Java Developers to join their team.
As a Senior Java Developer you will take part in the whole process of the SDLC. Your tasks will include designing, specification, development, performance improvement and occasionally training junior colleagues. You will deal with algorithms (research and optimization), scalability challenges and performance optimization. Development contains both server and client side. You will also have the chance to get involved in embedded systems development on real-time OS.
You are a suitable candidate if you have:
• At least 3 years of Java development experience in Linux environment with Eclipse (or Netbeans)
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and Cassandra DBMS
• Experience in following Clean Coding principles
• Intermediate English language skills
Experience with high-level Software QA, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Agile software development methodologies is a great plus.
