Java Developer

Background:

The application has been developed in Switzerland and recently in Hungary as well. It has a real object oriented codebase, therefore it is well maintainable. It’s integrated with multiple other applications and integration is further developed continuously. We are looking for vigilant developers who are enthusiastic about quality code and feel important to make the application user friendly.

Daily tasks:

• Java development
• Oracle data base design and modification
• Source code management
• Software specification and design
• Software documentation
• Customer or internal training
• Bug fixing

Elvárás

Required Skills:

Preferable 3 years plus of software design and development experience in the following topics:

• Object Oriented Development
• Java SDK
• Design patterns
• Database design
• Creating detailed software specification and design based on a short, partially complete description of the functionality
• Open and proactive Personality
• Business and result oriented mindset
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team as well
• Excellent communication skills - Ability to describe complex software functionality and discuss complex implementation problems.

Optional Skills:

• Swing
• Version Control
• Ant
• Web services
• Database Object-Relational-Mapping
• XML handling in Java
