GL Lead accountant

They are the Shared Service Center of one of the world's largest companies headquartered in England, serving customers in more than 100 countries across six continents. The SSC in Budapest provides Finance, Customer Service and Operational Procurement services.

Location:
Budapest

Responsibilities:

• Support of timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes
• Support EBSC teams to ensure effective delivery to resolve issues and put in place process improvements
• Provide back up support to the Chief Accountant during times of Chief Accountant absence
•  Carrying out balance sheet reconciliation
• Support intercompany processes/ Group recharges processes
• Coordinate Cash and bank activities and help preparing Cash-flow
• Provide guidance the team and support to other team members, assist in the resolution of queries

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience in finance area 
• Experience in general ledger accounting
• Fluent English
• College or University degree
• Self confident appearance in relations to the internal and external contacts 
• Strong communication and cooperation skills
