General Ledger Accounting Supervisor [ST-AGLAS02]

Our client is a prestigious multinational Business Service Center. We are looking for General Ledger Accounting Team Leader or Senior Accountant (with people managment experience) with great potential to grow into higher level.

Tasks

- Manage the service relationship with the key contacts in the given countries
- Manage the accounting activities for the month end close
- Ensure relevant Balance sheet accounts are reconciled
- Control and check operational activities
- Monthly reporting of the performance
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement them

Requirements

- College or university degree in Finance/Accounting
- Fluency in English and at least conversational level of German with willingness to improve it
- 3-4 years relevant experience required in SSC environment
- 1-2 years experience in supervising and motivating teams
- Previous experience in a Shared/Business Service Center
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer approach
- Strong People Management skills
- Needs to be willing to work flexibly and adapt to changing structures and procedures, as required
- Client focused, goal oriented and hard worker personality

Vantage

- Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
- Chartered Accountant Certificate
