Financial Manager - Accounts Payable

On behalf of our multinational Client who is one of Europe's leading providers of communication services, with over 21 million corporate and residential customers in the UK alone. They provide the best communications services and solutions for individuals in the UK and for corporate customers across Europe. We are currently looking for:

Financial Manager - Accounts Payable

Responsible:

• To lead for success and coach through 6 team leads a team of 70 finance professionals and finance analysts to deliver excellent customer service including successful month end closing, performance, adherence to SLAs & KPIs targets.
• Manage efficient relationship with internal departments and Procurement.
• Take personal ownership of customer feedback and issues, escalate where necessary.
• Be a role model for the team by demonstrating effective leadership, positive behaviors, excellence in management and customer relationships.
• Drive initiatives on process harmonization, route cause analysis and efficiency savings.
• Accountable for SOX External and Internal Audit controls.
• People and Talent management.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English is a must
• College or University degree (finance / accountancy / economics)
• Min 5 years relevant working experience in Accounts Payable
• Min 3 years People Management experience
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to meet priorities and deadlines
• Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work, handle pressure and take day-to-day decisions on the running of the organization
• Self motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects
• Experience of Oracle would be an advantage
• Experience in migration, transition of accounting processes is an advantage
