EMEA Sourcing Manager

For our client, one of the world's leading multinational banks, we are looking for an EMEA Sourcing Manager into their Budapest office.


- Participate in the development of accurate and timely category strategies and plans to deliver supplier cost reduction and avoidance opportunities that align with stakeholder needs
- Maintaining strong supplier and internal client relationships
- Collaborate positively across procurement and with internal clients to develop and implement sourcing programmes
- Contribute to specific category targets/ goals
- Apply appropriate sourcing levers to programmes, such as benchmarking, tendering, process improvement, volume leverage, supplier consolidation and product substitution/ elimination to reduce cost and provide service improvements in the timely fulfilment of business needs
- Understand and follow all audit and compliance requirements


- Fluent English knowledge
- 5-8 years of procurement experience, of which at least 3 years sourcing experience, preferably strategic sourcing experience
- Experience in leading / participating in regional project is an advantage
- Experience in sourcing in related categories is an advantage
- Ability and experience to manage multiple projects / tenders with some direct supervision
- Basic commercial awareness and able to translate strategy into action
- Experience in an individual contributor role
- Strategic thinking
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills with strong influencing and persuasive attributes
- Ability to deliver ambitious saves targets
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and time management skills
- Ability to build remote relationships
- Strong Project Management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of ERP systems and eProcurement tools such as Oracle, Procure-to-Pay, eAuction, eRFX tools are advantageous
- Certified Procurement Professional such as CPM or CIPS is advantageous.
