Compensation & Benefit Specialist

Our client is a well known FMCG company for whom we are currently seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist with at least 3-years-experience on similar field preferably with FMCG or manufacturing background.


- Ensure the maintenance and development of the personnel and payroll administration guidelines, procedures and systems
- Formulate an equitable and competitive compensation and benefits policy, in line with corporate remuneration policy and local requirements
- Manage salary issues and salary increasing, implements the performance management outcomes into salary procedures, provides technical assistance to leaders and to HR Director
- Monitors the compensation related (company car, phone, mobile) legislations, provide information to leaders and HR Director in case of diversion
- Manage employment contracts and labor issues
- Coordinates job evaluation on (new) positions
- Manages expat remuneration tasks
- Leads the payroll team
- Coordinates the cafeteria system
- Manages the employees medical checking system, maintain it with the service company
- Manages the life insurance system for all employees
- Review and re-build the HR controlling system
- Budgeting & forecasting salary budget, department spendings
- Prepares materials on Trade Union and Workers’ Council topics
- Organize meetings with Trade Union and Workers’ Council
- Prepares service contracts that connect to compensation, serves as a contact to related third parties
- Being involved in matters related to other HR disciplines, i.e. Performance Management, employee satisfaction survey, staff relations
- Coordinates internal control framework of own department


- Bachelor/Master’s Degree (preferably in Economics, HRM)
- At least 3 years of experience in similar role (manufacturing experience is a must)
- Detailed knowledge of Comp&Ben, Labour law landscape
- Proactive, result-oriented, precise in keeping deadlines, punctual
- Persuasive, sense of diplomacy, supportive personality, good stakeholder management skills
- Good analytical mindset, focus on details but also understands the big picture
- Excellent MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
- Experience in Piramis software is an advantage
- Fluency in English and Hungarian
