Will be responsible for mechanical engineering supervision, leadership, project assignments, quality, utilization, profitability, proposal development and budget, technical content of construction documents, standards development and implementation, communication, organization and staff mentoring. Knowledge of plumbing system design, analysis and engineering with the ability to be the designer of record for plumbing systems is a plus.
** BSMS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering.
** Ten years (10) of mechanical engineering analysis and design of buildings including facility planning, preliminary and final design, construction documents and specifications for High end residential, Higher Education, and/or Commercial facilities is also required.
** Project work includes HVAC design, and energy analysis for new facilities as well as renovation work.
** Candidate must be a licensed professional engineer (PE) in CT/NY/MA. NCEES certification is a plus. LEED Certification is preferred.
Familiarity with various types of HVAC systems including:
o Chilled Water
o Boiler System
o Mechanical Piping Systems
o Controls & Sequence of Operations
o Humidification & Dehumidification Systems
o Radiant Heating
o VAV and VRV Systems
