One of our multinational clients working in the food industry is currently looking for an Assistant Manager.
To update and upload documents in customer’s database in the online portal ‘TRACE ONE’ To liaise with printers for artwork development and obtaining approvals from customers for the amendments in existing labels and development of labels for new products Verifying regulatory compliance of destination countries within Europe for the labels developed at our company Handling customer complaints in coordination with our two plants Document management aligned to BRC, IFS & ISO 22000 requirements Communicating with customers for any queries related to quality and safety of the products delivered from both of the manufacturing locations Submission of new samples to different customers as a part of product development process and assisting respective plants to deliver samples to desired destination Updating and amending existing specifications and recipes in coordination with Quality & Food safety managers of respective plants Generating trend of customer complaints, DPM (Defects Per Million) and lead indicators like foreign matter detected in the process on monthly basis.
Experience of 5-7 years in the food industry Ability to write, speak and read both in English (French is a strong advantage) Graduation in Food science / Food Technology or any of the Biological sciences Awareness on GFSI benchmarked certification systems like BRC, IFS, ISO 22000 etc. is an added advantage Awareness on European legislation for the food (primarily for fruits & vegetables packed in brine) to verify label compliance
