| Duties: |
|
The role of Architect is a core member of the Business Analytics Center of Competency team. Working as a member of the architecture/infrastructure team, this role requires a proven leader with strong technical and architecture skills.
Desirable additional skills/experience:
Web services deployments and security
Utilizing ESB (Enterprise Service Bus)
Rational tools and GenO initiatives
Cognos cube builds
LDAP directories and interfaces
Responsibilities:
Researching solutions to technical and infrastructure issues, developing install plans including architecture documents, documenting test plans and use cases, impact analysis, evaluation of test results, determining support requirements, technical and end-user documentation, providing operational instructions to BACC Run team.
Contribute to Business Analytics architecture strategy, release and roadmap planning for technical solutions
Review of architecture for internal applications which will be hosted on centralized Cloud business analytics environment
Install and support clustered WAS applications
Deployment and lifecycle support for packaged solutions in a shared enterprise environment
Provide architecture support for applications in DST, CDT, AHE and GHO hosting centers |

| Requirements, skills: |
|
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 2 years experience in IT Architect
At least 2 years experience in Cognos BI installation, configuration, administration
At least 2 years experience in Websphere installation, configuration, administration
At least 2 years experience in DB2 installation, configuration, administration
At least 3 years experience in Linux/Unix administration
At least 3 years experience in IHS installation, configuration, administration
English: Fluent
Preferred
Information Technology
At least 4 years experience in IT Architect
At least 4 years experience in Cognos BI installation, configuration, administration
At least 4 years experience in Websphere installation, configuration, administration
At least 3 years experience in DB2 installation, configuration, administration
At least 4 years experience in Linux/Unix administration
At least 4 years experience in IHS installation, configuration, administration |
