AP Accountant

MTV Networks’ Financial Shared Service department is looking for an AP Accountant to fulfill the following tasks:

Supplier Invoice Processing

• Scan and accurately match invoices to purchase orders promptly and to meet daily Sprinter (purchasing system) upload deadlines
• Process invoices/manual entries into JD Edwards accounting system
• Escalate unmatched invoices to relevant departments

T&E and Credit Card process

• Make sure the approval routes and limits in the T&E system are correct
• Check if relevant backup documentation is provided and valid
• Follow up of the requests until payment is done
• Create regular and ad-hoc reports
• Other non-defined tasks based on the line manager’s requests

Experience/Skills:

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good Excel/spreadsheet skills
• Well organised with strength in prioritising
• Flexible attitude to achieve results
•  Some work experience gained in a similar role preferably at a multinational company
•  Upper intermediate English and German knowledge both written and oral
