ACCOUNTANT in Bratislava/Pozsony

Job description, responsibilities and duties:

• to adapt and implement group accounting rules to be in line with legal and internal requirements
• to ensure smooth and timely day-to-day accounting
• communication with the tax authorities, financial institutions
• preparation of financial statements (VAT return, internal & external statistics - monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
• balance sheet reconciliation activities
• assisting with internal and external audits
• assistance in the development and implementation of effective accounting policies, procedures and processes
• to deliver exceptional financial analysis and reports on requests

Requirements and skills

We welcome candidates who meet the following requirements:

• University degree (or Secondary with leaving examination) in economic or finance direction
• Min. 3 years experience of complex Hungarian accounting (specially VAT returns)
• Strong accounting background and accuracy
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Computer skills - knowledge of MS Office applications (SAP experience is an advantage)
