Job description, responsibilities and duties:
- to adapt and implement group accounting rules to be in line with legal and internal requirements
- to ensure smooth and timely day-to-day accounting
- communication with the tax authorities, financial institutions
- preparation of financial statements (VAT return, internal & external statistics - monthly, quarterly and annual basis)
- balance sheet reconciliation activities
- assisting with internal and external audits
- assistance in the development and implementation of effective accounting policies, procedures and processes
- to deliver exceptional financial analysis and reports on requests
Requirements and skills
We welcome candidates who meet the following requirements:
- University degree (or Secondary with leaving examination) in economic or finance direction
- Min. 3 years experience of complex Hungarian accounting (specially VAT returns)
- Strong accounting background and accuracy
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Computer skills - knowledge of MS Office applications (SAP experience is an advantage)
