Installing and maintaining products and services in complex Java (J2EE) environments, you'll provide full technical support, including incident and problem resolution. You'll often be expected to deliver to tight timescales and always to a high quality. Focused on standardisation and improvement, you'll work collaboratively with your colleagues to contribute to strategy and design.
Your focus on quality and service will be matched by experience of complex projects or incident recovery. You'll have sound experience of operating in a service delivery environment, along with diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse a wide range of technical information. Ready to organise your own workload, you'll have good communication skills and the ability to manage internal customers across the business.
Skills in IBM Websphere are key. Application Server v 6.1.0.x and later administration is essential, while Process Server 126.96.36.199 and Content Manager 6.1.0.x would be helpful. Ideally, you'll demonstrate knowledge of IBM Caching Edge Proxy or ClearQuest and ClearCase for deployment and workflow management. You'll also bring to the role a good understanding of AIX and Linux operating systems.
