UK IT PMO - RECCES are looking for a Junior Project Manager who will manage the IT requirements for the Graduate Recruitment intake programme, which has approx. 1200 graduates joining PwC per year and Client Connectivity projects that support PwC staff on and offsite allowing them to connect to the PwC network.
RECCES is a project team that sits within the Project Management Office (PMO) and deals with the IT activities required in Real Estate, Client Connectivity and Event Support projects for PwC Staff and Clients. The projects that the team deal with are varied and wide reaching across all lines of service.
About the role
• Work closely with internal customers and clients in order to facilitate connectivity to data at 3rd party site • Work on Acquisitions and Disposals understanding client IT requirements and managing the related project activities. • Managing the IT project activities involved in the Graduate Recruitment process • Working closely with Lines of Service and IFS to ensure that Graduates are able to work effectively from Day 1 • Ensure that all stakeholder are kept up to date with progress • Ensure meetings take place with the stakeholders and documented • Budget preparation and management ensuring that the programme stays within the agreed budget • Sharing fresh ideas and best practice with peers, working together to achieve business priorities • Delivering to agreed time scales and SLAs • Gather, Record and monitor feedback on the service that we provide • 3rd party client and vendor liaison • Document retention, management & maintenance e.g. Management of the RECCES Database and shared drive ensuring that documentation is up to date and current • Facilitates collaboration amongst team leads on a project to address project issues and execution
• Proven experience of working across different areas within an office environment, team player • GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent) in English and Maths • Proven experience of MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word • Experience in marketing, web/portal management • Has strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills • Prepared to travel to visit other PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) offices. • Organised approach to performing tasks and prioritising work where there is conflicting time demands. • Good communication and listening skills to ensure that tasks are clearly understood and any queries to or from the clients are efficiently dealt with. • Willingness to learn about clients and how to perform new tasks. • A High level understanding of how IT systems work.
