If you are looking for new challenges as a Global Portfolio Office Lead, using your English on daily basis and participate in a unique projects in a multinational environment?

One of our biggest client in energy sector is looking for a Global Portfolio Office Lead to Budapest.
The role will manage the portfolio prioritisation, resource allocation and benefit realisation reporting, ensuring that maximum business value is derived through the project implementations and within agreed scope and timescales.
The Portfolio Lead will be responsible for the operation of the Transformation Programme Office (TPO), leading programme governance board and project leadership forums, and will be a proactive and visible stakeholder to the company leadership team. The role will own the Demand pipeline for Transformation and Transition initiatives, providing oversight of the overall portfolio.

- Partner with the comapny leadership to develop and manage multi-year Transformation and Transition project demand
- Enable strategic alignment through cross-functional governance boards, project leadership forums and associated reporting, status updates and action tracking
- Accountable for portfolio assurance and the key escalation point for initiatives
- Own the project portfolio reporting and tracking, including innovative solutions to improve reporting accuracy, digestibility and timeliness
- Development and maintenance of the integrated programme plans, understanding of the individual project plans and identification and mitigation of any potential timeline clashes or resource conflicts
- Proactively identify resource requirements for the different stages of the projects. Support resource management reporting with specific emphasis on deployment levels, utilization levels, skills capacity and availability, costs etc.
- Assist the Program Director or Transformation Directors in getting projects scoped and prioritized accordingly, as well as advocate project management by actively educating and sharing value gained through use of consistent project management [PMO] processes
- Work closely with Project Delivery Managers, GPOS, service delivery management, service management, client organization, suppliers, and third-party contractors to resolve escalated issues via the Governance Model
- Liaise with the Change Managers to ensure that the Programme and Project level change management and governance plans are aligned

Elvárások / Requirements

- Minimum 5 years relevant business experience and knowledge of business support activities required
- Strong track-record in business partnering and senior stakeholder engagement
- Experience with advanced competency using project management tools and other software
- Advanced proficiency in planning, risk management, performance management, and quality & delivery assurance
- Experience leading teams and managing performance
- Ability to lead by providing a clear sense of direction for the team, in the context of wider business objectives, agreeing clear objectives and tracking progress
- Nice to have PMP Management Institute Certification or Lean / Six Sigma Certification
- Fluent English
