Job description
This is a unique multi-faceted role that combines technical development and application support, advanced business communication skills; relationship management across external clients, internal product management and engineering groups; and knowledge of financial instruments and markets.

Provision of software implementation, data integration and technical support across our desktop, ASP, toolkit and open architecture products, including:
Pre-sales advice and consultations - demonstrating products and toolkits covering architecture and operational workflow
Software Implementation - delivering both standard and custom implementations that may require software development
Post-implementation support, working with clients directly and with escalated issues from our Client Service team
Relationship management
Partnering with our client technology groups to ensure current trends in platforms, operations, policies and procedures are understood
Liaising with engineering and Product Management groups to feedback trends, problems and development needs identified from these relationships
Partnering internal sales and service teams to ensure a seamless, world class service throughout the entire sales cycle
Visiting clients in EMEA to help solving their problems onsite (couple of times a year)
Understanding of Financial Instruments and Markets
In conjunction with our Consulting Team, assist clients in modeling financial instruments in our software and interpreting Risk Management reports

Relevant degree (Finance, Financial Engineering, Math, Computer Science, IT, Business)
5 years+ relevant experience
Software development experience, in one of C#, C++, VB or Java
Good scripting and batching languages, to include at least one of Perl, VBA, WSH/VB-Script
Strong demonstrable skills in enterprise-class relational databases (MS-SQL, Oracle, Sybase) and SQL
Advanced Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008 in a network environment
Advanced MS Office
Comfortable building reports and general data manipulation
Strong aptitude to learn new technologies and practices quickly
Customer Management
Experience in a consulting or client facing environment providing integration and implementation services
Excellent problem solving ability
Understanding of Financial Instruments and Markets is a plus
Demonstrates initiative and is self starting, motivated and committed
