We are looking for a Manager with the ability to build internal and external relationships to join our successful and growing London Inbound and FTSE 100 (top tier) Indirect Tax team.
The IF100 Indirect Tax team includes VAT, customs and excise and export control specialists. Within the VAT specialism we have deep specialists who work on Value Chain Transformation, tax disputes/penalties and Tax Risk Assurance projects supporting national and international projects. All members of the team work closely with colleagues in Corporate Tax / TP/VCT and Consulting.
The role will be primarily focussed on the provision of VAT consulting services to our diverse client base of top tier multinational clients.
The role will be based in our newly refurbished Embankment Place office with occasional travel to client sites for meetings or site based work.
The ideal candidate will be able to lead on projects, have knowledge of and be responsible for financial management, strong interpersonal skills and a focus on relationship building. A track record of delivering high quality work for clients is essential. Experience in dealing with international Indirect Tax issues would be an advantage but is not essential. The role would be well suited for an individual with a desire and an ability to take advantage of new opportunities for learning, sharing new knowledge; and thinking creatively.
About the role
The London office has a very diverse client base and is able to provide an interesting and rewarding experience. The IF100 Indirect Tax team is led by two Partners, who are supported by two Directors and a number of Senior Managers, Managers, Senior Associates, Associates and a TA. The team (IF100 Corporate) is focussed on both Inbound and Outbound markets and the candidate would gain experience of working across both market sectors. The IF100 corporate team is an iconic tax team, advising many of the firm's largest and most prestigious clients on cutting edge tax issues facing their businesses. The role has become available due to market growth driving the need for an experienced Manager to take a key role in delivering a strong pipeline of work. The role offers excellent prospects for career progression and development.

Essential Skills:

Desirable skills:
• A degree 2.1 or equivalent, ACA, CTA, AIIT or equivalent qualification part qualified candidates will be considered and opportunities to undertake further study and qualifications may be available
