We are looking for Senior Managers to join the successful and growing London Region Tax team, based in Embankment Place, focussing on large corporates and leading client relationships.
Core responsibilities
• Provide advice in a variety of scenarios including UK and international corporate structuring, deals, reorganisations and wider strategic corporate tax advice. The core role is corporate tax focussed, however you will have exposure to and build experience across other taxes.
• Lead client relationships and develop new opportunities from your portfolio.
• You may become involved in tax compliance and audit work, although this is not a primary component of the role, with support provided by specialist compliance teams.
• To retain a broader commercial perspective on your clients, and look to develop opportunities for other parts of the team, and more outside of the Tax line of service.
• Breadth of corporate tax knowledge and ability to lead client relationships.
• Be ambitious and want to contribute developing the wider team.
• Ability to advise UK owned companies on range of UK and international structuring issues.
• Strong tax accounting knowledge, and able to support audit teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to communicate with non-tax specialists is crucial).
• Ability to motivate and support the development of our junior staff.
• Passion for client service.
About London Region Tax
London Region Tax is a successful and exciting team of nearly 300 people, providing advice to London based companies outside of the FTSE 100. The team is split between five groups - Listed, Private Business, Private Equity Backed, Private Client, and HRS. With its strength being its diversity, the team achieved 15% growth over the past 12 months and the corporate client base contributed significantly. We need ambitious people to continue this impressive growth story.
Our clients are large and medium sized companies, whether privately or publically owned. Clients of the team include the likes of Northern & Shell Media, Lloyds Register, Laing O'Rourke, IG, ARUP, Savills Plc, Greene King Plc, Merlin Entertainments and National Grid Plc. We look after all aspects of the tax relationship, and work with other lines of service to deliver a wider offering for our clients.
