As a Client Administrator ("CA") you will be located within and work as an integral part of the client engagement teams within Tax. You will provide administrative, finance and billing, risk management and research services. You will act as a key communication point between members of staff and partners on the team. You will be given the necessary coaching and training to develop your skills to enable you to fully meet the demands and needs of the role.

About the role
Finance -
• Proactively monitor costs and expenses relating to client engagements including preparing bills and chasing debts
• Analysis and reporting of time and costs charged to clients, providing budget updates, identify and resolve discrepancies
• Offer engagement team suggestions for improving engagement efficiency and profitability, monitoring client team performance against targets and produce and analyse reports on key engagements
Anti-Money Laundering, Risk Management and Compliance -
• Assist with the completion of 'Know your client' anti-money laundering checks and other risk and compliance activities and ensure that these are completed ahead of engagement letters being issued to clients
• Track and resolve outstanding risk management issues and requests within deadlines
• Ensure all clients within your portfolio and any new clients have the necessary up to date risk management documentation in place and monitor this on an ongoing basis
• Assist engagement teams with securing authorisation for providing services to audit clients
Document Management System (DMS) -
• Oversee and undertake procedures relating to the administration of our document management system, including: - forward all documents for scanning/filing within required deadlines - create and file documentation to DMS and email links to the client team as necessary - liaise with DMS Business Administration to ensure new client work is set up on a timely basis with appropriate access including specialists from other teams, if necessary
• Support client teams on DMS by sharing knowledge, best practice and guidance
• Help to ensure that client file security is maintained in accordance with the firm's Information Security policies Marketing / Business Development / Research and Knowledge Sharing -
• Assist engagement teams with recording and updating opportunities for client work on PwC systems
• Assist with maintaining accuracy and completeness of client relationships on PwC systems
• Provide regular updates of relevant client information to all members of the engagement team using various reporting methods
• Undertake proposal research including identification and relevant collation of information
• Sharing ideas and best practice with peers, working together to achieve business priorities
• Organised approach to performing tasks and prioritising work where there are conflicting demands
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to interpret financial data and produce relevant reports
• Experience of delivering accurate and thorough work, reliability in customer service and problem solving skills
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to take responsibility for own work under own initiative
• Able to work to deadlines and flexible with regard to hours (as overtime may be required) as priorities may change at short notice
• Strong influencing and team working skills, able to build and maintain trusted relationships with both clients and colleagues
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to liaise confidently and professionally at all levels
• Efficient management of client documents, using electronic filing
• Minimum of English and Maths GCSE at grades A to C (or equivalent)
