Performs server, storage and network hardware deployment at Data Center
Maintains vendor support relationships and works with on-site vendors to perform support functions
Assists with downtime planning for server, storage and network infrastructure
Ensure configuration data accuracy
Involvement with the corporate change management procedure
Assists with the execution downtime plans when local resources are required
Assists with Capacity Management of all infrastructure and resources
Reporting and forecasting of device capacity using corporate standard tools
Coordinates the installation activities with onsite resources and vendors
Support of presales activities
Manage test and pilot installations of server and storage infrastructure
Support in preparing technical concepts and documentation
Engage and maintain a close relationship with global operation teams
Global Capacity management
Standarisation of global deployments
Maintain role concept and people development to role experts
Plan and Proceed QMWs globaly (Quarterly Maintenance Windows)
Support and Coordinate Major Changes within AppCom
HW Ramp Up and Block Build Projects
Forecast management within the ICB´s
Manage techbase utilisation
Work Load Balancing
Follow the sun / 24h *7 deployments as an option
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline or higher
4 - 5 years and above of related working experience.
Good people management skill
Technical or professional qualifications within the relevant field of responsibilities.
Thinks and acts in a Customer orientated manner, both internally and externally.
Delivers results in conformance with T-Systems standards.
Fulfils tasks on-time and consciously recognise possible gaps and risks within operational services and identifies these to relevant stakeholders.
Sets achievable objectives for oneself, and assumes responsibility for agreed objectives and ensures successful closure, recognises opportunities to exceed his/her objectives both quantitive and qualitative manner.
Contributes to the ongoing improvement of operational processes.
