Your role:

1.As a Stewarding Supervisor, you are responsible for the organisation and running of the kitchen porter contracts at client site and manage a team of kitchen porters. The Supervisor must ensure all Kitchen Porters in their team perform consistently to company corporate standard of operation, which by definition exceeds that of the expectation of each of the clients. The Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with chefs, BOH and F&B Managers at the Client site/s:

a.Maintaining the hotel standards for all food & beverage production work areas
b.Make decisions in absence of the Back of House Manager on daily operation issues
c.Assist in controlling costs and breakage
d.Supervise and assist in scheduling kitchen porter rotas, delegate duties to effectively operate the department
e.Train kitchen porters on all stewarding related procedures
f.Communicate effectively at all levels, be self-motivated and proactive as well as be able to supervise & motivate other team members
g.A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role and environment is required
h.Excellent rates of pay and career progression for the right candidate

Entry Requirements:

•Experience of cleaning within 5* hospitality sector in Back of house/ Stewarding
•Experience of managing a team of 5 persons or more for a minimum of 2 years
•Ability to plan rotas and holidays
•Excellent communication skills and command of English, both written and verbal
•A 'Can do' and flexible attitude and availability to work in various shifts
•Strong physical capacity is required due to the handling of heavy machinery as and when required
•Flexibility to work in shifts, over week-ends and transfer to different client sites at short notice
Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
