Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £32,862 - £39,434 per annum depending on experience
£1,100 Shift Allowance
£2,000 Golden Handshake
£5,000 towards Relocation Costs
The completion of our new state-of-the-art AICU premises is under way and set to open in January 2020! This single 10 bedded unit will include both level 2 and 3 beds. To launch this exciting expansion, we will need exceptional nurses to join us!

Adult Intensive Care Unit
Our AICU treats a wide range of patients with different needs. Work ranges from elective surgical cases, to welcoming international patients that require a high level of medical and nursing support. Our nursing team also provide an Outreach service, a great opportunity for our nurses to develop additional skills and gain experiences in managing acutely unwell patients, liaising with medical and nursing teams and coordinating the management of patients referred to the service.
What you'll be doing
  • Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care for AICU patients.
  • Work within a team, supervising and directing more junior staff and deputising for Senior Staff Nurse as required.
  • Act as a clinical role model for all members of staff, driving high standards of care at all times.
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures with due care and attention
To be successful, you will be required to have:
  • An active NMC registration
  • Nursing experience of working within ICU
  • Team player abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to develop both professionally and personally
