PwC St.Albans are looking for experienced audit senior managers who have a passion for client service and a desire to develop their career in an exciting and expanding office, with fantastic opportunities for challenging work and getting involved in topical, high profile business issues.

As a Senior Manager you will be expected to take leadership roles within the office that are outside of external audit relationships and drive associated key initiatives.
As a Senior Manager within our St Albans office you will be required to:
Provide excellent audit and business advice to a variety of clients
Have significant experience of executing complex audit engagements from start to finish and be used to working to tight deadlines and handling pressure
Have strong project management skills
Be highly motivated and driven to achieving goals
Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with new and established clients at board level
Have significant experience of leading clearance and Audit Committee meetings
Report directly to a partner or director
Have strong report writing skills
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and be a role model to junior staff
Have the ability to convey complex audit and accounting issues to clients and teams in simple terms and to be able to provide appropriate technical solutions
Have highly developed listening and questioning technique
Must be educated to degree level
Must be ACA or similarly qualified
Other relevant competencies include financial reporting frameworks such as UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing frameworks such as UK ISAs.
• Amount of time office based: c.35%
• Amount of time at client sites: c.65%
Some assignments may require travel and staying away from home.

Your responsibilities will include:
Identify, anticipate and resolve technical issues within the context of the client's business
Contribute to engagement/project management to meet engagement project objectives and budget
Have significant experience of leading clearance and Audit Committee meetings
Contribute to the management of project financials including budgets, WIPS and timely billing
Takes day to day responsibility for the outputs and activities of your team
Explain to staff members how their assignments contribute to meeting the objectives of the engagement/
project as well as their career development. Uses delegation and assumes the role of a mentor where
Lead by example, showing a commitment to quality and integrity and motivating and enthusing others
Start to develop deeper working relationships with the client
Take appropriate responsibility for the quality of your team's work meeting compliance and risk
management requirements
