 Sales Support Engineer

Description of position:    Supporting the sales and account teams in order to win of new business and projects.

Duties:    • The role holder is supporting the sales and account teams in order to win of new business and projects related to small and medium size customers; Takes over responsibility for defined parts of the bid or project as member of the project team

• Collects and analyses customer requirements and according to the needs provide and prepare technical solutions

• Designs cost effective and feasible solutions and presents and sells it to the account teams (and/or customers)

• Delivers technical consulting to the account team (and/or to the customers) and builds up a relationship as a trusted advisor

• Supports the handover of the sold and ordered solution to the relevant delivery units; Delivers handover documentation to the Delivery team

• Collaboratively works with other designers and engineers to resolve design and implementation related issues

• Works together with Account Teams managing, influencing, interpreting and capturing customer requirements and identifying opportunities

• Works together with the Account Teams to influence, qualify, design, present, propose and sell appropriate solutions and services

• Ensures customer satisfaction on the technical aspects of the company's solutions

• Delivers technical input to the Bid Managers on technical parts of the Bid.

• Delivers technical input to the Project Manager on implementation of standard technical solutions.

• Reduces costs and improves efficiency by adopting the automation and design repeatability tools and processes

• Stays up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services is essential

• Delivers Technical input to the Service Request management team on running contracts.

Requirements, skills:    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in multinational environment (preferred sector is Telecoms/IT Industry)

• Strong communication and coordination skills;

• Good sales, interpersonal and analytical skills; Be able to use analytical skills to analyse and understand the customer requirements

• Strong customer orientation; Builds and maintains with the customer appropriate relationship

• Able to perform the required administration in the appropriate level

• Are responsible for your own work

• Process oriented approach is essential

• Basic negotiation skill is required; Able to construct and present arguments to influence the decisions of peers and immediate managers to achieve desired business objectives

• Able to deal with problems independently but may require technical guidance as appropriate; Able to work in virtual team

• Can produce standardised documents in a range of areas

• Able to operate effectively within familiar situations and also able to work in novel situations within your domain

• Good business acumen with the ability to understanding industry dynamics, the competitive environment and customer business drivers

Able to think creatively, to innovate and resolve commercial and technical problems

Known languages:    Fluent English, Any other European languages is mandatory, esp. Spanish, German, Italian, French
