About the job
As a regulated business, Bupa takes its responsibility of 'treating customers fairly' very seriously, particularly when it comes to creating and executing customer communications and developing and managing regulated products and services.
The purpose of this pivotal role within the Bupa Health Funding Marketing Team is to ensure regulatory risks are identified and escalated, process/action plans created and delivered, and processes to mitigate risks are audited and tracked as fit for purpose.
It is the individual's responsibility to ensure that the First Line of Defence within the Marketing Team is robust and to escalate with Senior Management when this isn't the case.

Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the Head Of in ensuring that the BHF marketing team deliver customer centric and compliant products and communications - the Quality Champion.
• Ensures regulatory driven process changes are communicated and embedded within Marketing processes and the Marketing Team and across the Bupa business (where required).
• Creates a programme of auditing that tests processes are in place to ensure marketing execution (communications) meets regulatory requirements, new products to market adhere to a robust product development process and legacy products are reviewed on a regular basis.
• Ability to engage a wide variety of senior stakeholders within a complex organisation, with the ability to understand which stakeholders need to be involved and when throughout the product development and communications development processes.
• Manages the Marketing Risk Register including owning certain aspects of remediation where appropriate and tracking ownership and progress against all marketing owned risks.
• Track and analyse MI from Digital Asset Management System and flags training requirements with the Marketing Operations Manager.
• Working with the Compliance and Legal Teams to ensure Marketing processes and practices reflect the latest regulatory requirements.
• Audit BHF marketing team to ensure customer experience is understood i.e. embed mandatory requirement for call listening.

Specific Skills
• Minimum of 4 years of working in an FCA regulated company in a marketing department
• Educated to degree level, or equivalent
• Experience of managing a range of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation to ensure optimum engagement
• MS project/Visio (or other project management software) experience preferred
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities
• Good analytical and numerical skills required to help prioritisation of initiatives to improve customer value and drive profitability
• Six Sigma experience desirable
