The AVP of Marketing Activation (head of) is responsible for managing all the operational aspects of marketing, including: process, financials, resourcing, project triage, scope, reporting and delivering the creative vision on-time and on-budget ensuring the continued growth of the TJX business.

Directing and managing the in-house Marketing Activation departments (Art Buying, Studio, Client Services, Production, Traffic) ensuring timely and accurate execution of all advertising and marketing materials for the TJX Europe brands, TK Maxx and HomeSense.

Key areas of responsibility are:
• Establish and sustain organizational structure in order to create a highly functioning team.
• Optimize resources to create efficiencies resulting in cost savings, superior output and on-time delivery.
• Support talent, recruitment, and development objectives for direct and in-direct reports.
• Ensure quality control measures are in place and operating efficiently.
• Build relationships and effectively influence in cross-functionally.
• Collaborate with brand and creative team leaders to define capabilities and develop workflow enhancements.
• Coordinates and consults with Senior Leadership (VP/SVP) in long-term strategy, department structure, systems and management to keep all aspects of the creative process running smoothly and efficiently.
• Drive internal efficiency by assessing resource needs resulting in profitability for organization.
• Improve workflow and productivity by proactively identifying issues and implementing new processes; define and communicate clear pathways to solutions, ensure adoption.
• Ongoing oversight of high-level timelines to ensure on time/budget delivery and continual assessment/solutions for "at risk" projects.
• Work with creative, marketing, and 3rd party suppliers to accurately define resources, timelines and create efficient roadmaps for delivery to guide team.
• Manage and track scope of work, overseeing all reporting.
• Monitor project changes in business scope and adjust resources as appropriate.
• Partner with Global Sourcing & Procurement on proposal requests, leverage opportunities and overall cost-economy initiatives for the organization. Select, maintain and review vendors on an as needed basis for quality, service and price.
• Responsible for development and management of division operating budget. Control and monitor expenses within creative and activation teams.
• Identifies and contracts freelance resources to supplement in-house staff to support demand of marketing activities during peak seasons
