Key Account Manager 

Reports to: Operational Director

Job Purpose:

Ensure operational delivery of services at contract level, meeting the contractual responsibilities and driving development and growth opportunities. Overall responsible for retention and development of contract through needed strategic and tactical actions, ensures a sustainable, successful and long-term relationship between ISS and customer.

The key success factors for the role will be:

  • Delivery of services within specified scope, timelines and budgetary targets
  • Successful management of allocated resources
  • Retention and development of contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in mobilisation and transition project team
  • Drive operational execution according to SLA across the contract
  • Drive operational development of IFS solutions across the account
  • Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by managed teams during the service delivery process
  • Lead, monitor and follow up the onsite services leads
  • Monitor performance and ensure delivery against critical milestones
  • Secure excellence in service delivery and focus on continuous improvements
  • Monitor and follow up the management of resources (people, materials) to ensurebudgetary control and profitability (P&L responsible)
  • Build strong relationships and develop effective communication with all internal customers
  • Manage client interactions and maintain stakeholder relationship across contract
  • Identify and address development contract opportunities through above base sales
  • Manage, follow up and address development needs of the team
  • Maintain a healthy, safe and secure working environment in line with current legislation and company HSE policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all communications from the company are cascaded as appropriate
  • Ensure understanding of and compliance with all ISS policies and procedures at contract level
  • Provide monthly qualitative analyses on financial indicators at contract level through adequate reports
  • Provide information accurately to central support departments (finance, HR, purchasing) with needed information for monthly closing and reporting


  • University degree_ Technical or Economical studies
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication skills, both in local language as in English
  • Drivers’ license


  • Previous 3-5 years’ work experience in managing teams
  • Experience in FM services may be an advantage
  • Previous experience in successful delivery of projects
