Our Financial Services Risk and Regulation team is made up of over 50 partners and 800 professional staff and our numbers and capabilities are expanding every day.

PwC's Banking & Capital Markets Controls Assurance team helps our Banking and Financial Services clients understand and challenge the efficiency of their systems and processes.
Due to growth, we have vacancies for Managers who are skilled in providing IT auditing services, risk evaluation and project governance to financial services (or professional services) clients.
About the role
This Manager role will see you working on a variety of challenging assignments for top brand banking and financial services clients.
You will manage the delivery of engagements, working as part of a team to execute the work and supporting a Senior Manager/Director with liasing with key stakeholders. You will lead junior team members, including coaching & mentoring and overseeing their work and reporting.
Here are typical assignments you will work on:
• Provide assurance that controls are in place prior to a client's major systems going live • Provide assurance that a client's processes are providing reliable reports • Work on a structured recovery after a client's systems breakdown • Create a risk management framework that identifies risk facing a client • Conduct an independent report on controls that can be used by third parties • Coach and supervise junior colleagues on assignments
• Computer Science or Accounting & Business Administration degree, or similar • ACA and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification, or equivalent • Experience in auditing IT systems of banks or professional services firms • Experience in evaluating technology that supports financial & operational application systems and related business processes • Experience in managing junior colleagues • Project management and analytical skills • Client relationship-building and management skills • Strong verbal, presentation and report writing skills • Flexibility to travel within UK and overseas • Ability and preparedness to work to tight deadlines when necessary
