ICT Manager - Lanarkshire, Motherwell, ML1 1
Based in Motherwell, an ICT Manager is required to work in our Efficient Government and Service Development Division.
An enthusiastic and skilled communicator who is comfortable with presenting at all levels across the organisation and working with a range of stakeholders and partners, you will be part of a division whose remit is to promote best practice in Customer Service across the Council, to provide efficient and effective ICT solutions that address business needs and to assist services in examining and improving current business processes.
A degree level qualification, in a relevant discipline, together with significant experience in the management of an ICT Service at senior management level is essential. Experience of: developing and implementing ICT Strategy within a large and complex organisation; change management - particularly in relation to ICT enabled organisational change; successful management of all resources related to the delivery of a modern and effective ICT service to agreed service levels are also essential requirements for this post.
With a demonstrable record of achievement in terms of performance management and ongoing continuous improvement and the ability to deliver a fit for purpose, cost effective ICT Service to support all Council Services, you will have experience of managing significant budgets linked to agreed and resourced investment plans.
An ITIL qualification and experience in the Public Sector is desirable.
