Purchasing specialist

Nova HR is the personnel consulting company of the Nova group. On behalf of our multinational Client in aviation industry, we are looking for candidates to the following position.

Tasks

• Project managing procurement projects of low complexity
• Managing lower value procurement and service contract management-related projects associated with the operation of the airline group (including management of documentation, financial assessment, provider selection)
• Leading interdepartmental alignment meetings and interviews for need assessment
• Creating tender and evaluation documentations (RfP, RfI, etc.)
• Engaging in price negotiations with providers
• Preparing presentations, executive summary materials, etc. for decision making
• Leading the service contracting process in cooperation with other departments
• Handling executed contracts and ensuring the Company’s contract inventory being up to date
• Other tasks as assigned by the Senior Purchasing Manager and Head of Purchasing

Requirements

• University or College degree
• Fluent English knowledge
• 1-3 years of work experience (in purchasing or logistics)
• Strong communication skills for negotiation, presentation, interviewing and any written information exchange
• Strong interpersonal skill to be able to efficiently communicate, built relationships and cooperation and this way drive the projects forward
• Structured, critical and practical thinking in order to break down or build processes and think “outside of the box”
• Experience in negotiations is an advantage
• Strong project/process management skills and mindset
• Attention to detail at deliverables, daily routines, and complex task management
• Ability to work on multiple priorities and under time pressure with accuracy and efficiency
• Flexibility in adapting to changes in the environment, expectations, and priorities
• Good MS Office knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) is a must
• Knowledge and experience with SAP Ariba are preferred
