Java developer (senior)

Description

• Help our partner rearchitect and scale out various margin services components.
• Move forward the adoption of these margin services calculators into their realtime margin and risk platform.
• Significant effort will be spent on both building out the required data interfaces as well as optimization and scaling up the capabilities of their calculation platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of development experience. Exceptional hands-on Java experience- 5 years minimum.
• Some hands-on exposure to OR knowledge of distributed caching strategies, concurrent programming, distributed computing and testing frameworks.
• Core Java 21, Google Protocol Buffers, Rest, IBM MQ Distributed Caching, Concurrent programming, Design patterns & Testing Frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational databases is highly desirable.
• Experience with data analytics is a strong positive, as part of an overall development background.
• While prior financial background is not required, a high degree of motivation to learn, innovate and work independently is essential.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal presentation and analytical skills.
• Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian language skills is a must.
