What will your daily work look like


Core member in the project team, responsible for the thermal domain

Contribution to the customer requirement analysis to derive thermal requirements

Carry out Low-Fidelity Thermal Modelling on Electrical Components and Systems

Carry out High-Fidelity Thermal Modelling on Electrical Components and Systems

Development of simulation and calculation methods and models for prediction of thermal behaviour of the components

Validation and fine-tuning of the models based on experimental data

Evaluation of potential cooling concepts and support of product development process with proposals based on simulation results

Optimization of cooling performance of electrical components

Pre-processing geometries for thermal models and simulations

Close cooperation with system, requirement, design, structural and testing engineering


What do you need to succeed?


Completed studies in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering or similar

Strong theoretical background in Thermodynamics

Several years of experience in Thermal Engineering, Thermal Management and Cooling Design

Experience with Thermal Simulation Tools (Preferred: STAR-CCM, ANSYS Fluent or similar)

Experience with CAD Design Tools (Preferred: Siemens NX or similar)

Experience in Lumped Parameter Modelling (Preferred: Matlab Simulink, Simscape)

Goal oriented, independent, and structured work

Good Communication skills in English
