Tasks / Feladatok

• Supplier management on plant level e.g. evaluation and negotiation of commercial parameters, regular meetings with key suppliers of assigned sourcing categories
• Supporting Global Commodity Managers in the development and implementation of new groupwide strategies and improvement measures
• Participation in acquisition projects, request for quotes, evaluation of bids, achieving project specific target prices, coordination of project specific supplier nominations
• Scheduling of the purchased parts (prototypes, initial samples, pre-production and start of production)
• Development of the project procurement strategy in coordination with the Global Commodity Managers, Quality/SQA
• Coordination of necessary approval audits with SQA for project-specific new suppliers
• Paying attention to the project-specific supplier risks and, if necessary, actions from the project-specific FMEA -> APQP process with SQA
• Proactive reporting and, if necessary, escalation of critical deviations (costs, deadlines, quality) in the project.
• Enforcing procurement goals and targeted commitments.
• Support daily procurement activities in the plant
• Coordination of cross-functional collaboration to ensure that the requirements of internal clients reflect current market offering

Requirements / Elvárások

• Degree in Engineering or Economics
• At least 3-5 years professional experience in multinational environment (Automotive is advantage)
• Technical background would be preferred
• Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
• Excellent knowledge of English language (German is an advantage)
• Success-oriented, independent thinking
• Great interpersonal and relationship management skills
• Excellent communication, flexibility, pro-activeness
• Willingness to travel occasionally
• Good organizational and planning skills
• Team player
