• We are seeking a Test Team Lead to join the International Assignment Services (IAS) Technology Group based in Embankment Place, London.
• The IAS Technology Group creates technology solutions for complex business problems with a focus on our client's international HR, Tax and Payroll needs. • As a member of the IAS Technology team, you will play an important role in the development lifecycle of our portfolio of technology solutions.
• You will have a proven history of leading the testing of software solutions built using Microsoft development tools. • You would demonstrate a willingness to continually learn and upgrade your skills and knowledge as the business environment and technology evolve. • You would be working alongside software developers, business analysts and testers, reporting to the Development Manager.
• You would support the growth of the team through mentoring junior team members.
About the roleThe IAS Technology team creates innovative, market leading solutions for our expatriate and global mobility practice. We automate business processes and solve complex business problems with custom built web and mobile technologies.
The team analyses requirements, architect, design and build scalable, maintainable, reliable systems leveraging leading, proven testing techniques and automation tools to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of new features.
As a member of the IAS Technology team, you will play an important role in the development lifecycle of our portfolio of technology solutions. You will be responsible for contributing to projects spanning both client implementation and product teams.
As a technical team member you will be responsible and/or regularly involved in the following areas:
• Coordinating with colleagues in different geographic locations and time zones • Designing and building solutions based on client requirements • Participating in estimation, design, and architecture reviews • Managing the work carried out by the test team
• Solution Delivery Methodologies including traditional SDLC and Agile · Defect-tracking tools (TFS, Jira, Bugzilla or similar) • Testing Tools (Microsoft Test Manager, Selenium, CodedUI, Cucumber, Jasmine, FIT or similar) • Testing Techniques (Load, Performance, Smoke, Fuzz, Penetration) • Source Control (TFS, Subversion, Git, Mercurial) • Producing test plans based on requirements analysis • Demonstrated understanding of the purpose of the software and functionality • Being able to automate functional, integration and regression tests • Documenting, tracking and reporting test results, defect history and quality metrics • Respectfully challenging solutions • Bringing new ideas to the team • Driving change and continuous improvement through the adoption of best practices • Being able to work closely with cross-functional team members such as Business Analysts and Developers to ensure product quality The skills we look for in future employees.
