The Role
We are looking for a HR Systems Analyst with previous experience working with systems and good understand of HR practices and processes. You will be self-starter and be able to take on responsibility with little day-to-day direction. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a customer-mindset, work collaboratively with HR teams and other stakeholders and will have the opportunity to develop their HR knowledge and experience.

What does the role involve? What are the key responsibilities?
  • Act as a point of contact for HR teams and business users, on HR systems related queries
  • Work collaboratively and at pace with key stakeholders (HR teams, IT teams and business areas) to identify HR systems and process issues, and provide support and guidance to resolve these issues
  • Building and maintain good relationships with systems and support providers (both internal and external to the FCA)
  • Assisting with future HR systems planning, design, development and implementation and preparing supporting user guides and training materials
  • Provide support for regular and ad hoc system changes, and HR continuous improvement initiatives including: testing, developing reports and communicating impacts to affected areas
  • Perform validation and testing prior to making changes in the system
  • Maintain and update information such as: user guides, FAQs, tips sheets for HR system navigation and troubleshooting
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge across HR systems, processes and ways or working


What will the candidate get from the role?

The successful candidate will be joining HR at an exciting time - over the next 18 months, we will be planning, building and launching a new HR system and there will be lots of opportunity to be part of this exciting project. We are also working on a number of high impact initiatives, to simplify and improve HR practices and processes across the broader FCA. This role will be key in providing support to deliver these initiatives, and will offer a variety of opportunities to develop systems and HR knowledge.
  • Opportunity to work with a wide range of HR, IT and business stakeholders across different levels
  • Gain experience of HR practices, processes and policies and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Gain unique experience being a part of the build, transition and launch to a new HR systems


Skills/Experience Required

Minimum

  • Previous experience in an HR system support role
  • Experience of working with HR practices and processes

Useful Information
  • This role is graded Administrator HR A+
  • The salary range will be approximately GBP 25,000 to 31,000 plus a competitive benefits package and non-contributory pension.
