The job holder has overall responsibility to manage all network related new services and provide a competitive proposal to the customer. The business relationship between the customer and the BP Account covers global telecommunication services (GTS), global E-Mail services (GES) and SAP hosting delivered from South Africa, Hungary and Slovakia to the customer. Key locations; London (UK) and Houston (US).
This senior expert position covers the complex topic of network design and pricing in order to deliver end to end proposals to the customer whilst coordinating workflow and communication between various roles on the account; including production functions, service delivery management, commercial management, architecture and pricing.
This is a key strategic position to further optimize and develop the customer and will be reporting directly to the Account Executive.
In cooperation with the Account CTO the global network presales manager will develop the future roadmap of the network and discuss this with the customer.
Develop a global strategy for new network services in cooperation with the account CTO and contribute to the specific globally aligned strategy for Sales.
Forecasting – establish and maintain an effective method of controlling the annual forecasted Order Entry for New Services in BP Global Account.
Invoicing and charging – Ensure the preparation of billing description for all proposed new services and ensure communication to integrate the new service into the Catalogue Management Tool.
Ensure that the offers are as much compliant to the T-Systems portfolio as possible, challenge the customer on specific, non-standard solutions.
Ensure proper governance and steering meetings for Bid Management. Act as escalation function between the Bid Manager and the customer. As well as internally between Bid Manager and Delivery Organization.
Ensure financial result of Bid Management according to budget/forecast/target.
Secure the sales process quality while evaluating, accessing and planning opportunities or incoming network requests (RFI, RFP) and pricing and/or proposal’s, depending on the different stage gate and close contract by creating a contract change request according to Sales Process.
