Global Information (GI) is responsible for the global financial reporting of the PwC Network of Firms. It comprises Client Information, Firm Information, Tax and Treasury services across a variety of information related Network initiatives. This role sits within the Client Information (CI) team.
The PwC Network operates in over 150 countries and generates US$ 30+bn of client revenues per annum from thousands of client groups. The Cl team defines, gathers, and reports PwC client revenue and financial information, adopting a proactive consulting approach with a variety of Network leaders including, Client Relationship Partners, Industry Leaders, Line of Service leaders, Business Development, Risk Management, Independence, Strategy, Legal to understand and address their information needs.
The CI systems, such as the Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and Global Client Portal (GCP) play a critical role in helping PwC business leaders across the Global Network achieve its strategic goals. This role is specific to the reporting activities from GDW and GCP and the data analysis that accompanies this
About the roleClient Information
Primary responsibility for the day to day operations, development of and reporting from Global Informations client information systems. More specifically but not limited to:
Management of the Operations of the Client Information Systems
· Responsible for management of the monthly operations of the GDW and GCP systems as well as agreeing the published timetable and SLA.
· Ensuring the GDW and GCP system availability, accuracy and appropriate user communications. Responsible for managing the day to day ISO 27001 environment, ensuring the controls and procedures that support information security are in place and adhered to.
· Proactively manage operational security risks and where necessary consult / escalate to GI leadership.
Monthly and ad-hoc Revenue / Margin Reporting
· Manage the Client information team to ensure successful delivery of the large monthly report portfolio in accordance with the agreed timetable.
· Responsible for data quality and data quality reporting
· Act as subject matter expert to the Client Information team providing regular guidance on interpretation of end user requests and security related issues.
Systems Development and Implementation
· Responsible for providing subject matter expertise to territories in the development / maintenance of data feeds and ensuring continued compliance with the Network Standards.
· Responsible for driving and working with IT to identify system solutions / developments that are effective and fit for purpose, meeting business needs.
Responsibility for Assets and Resources
· Line Manager to the Operations Manager and Development Manager and for the day to day management of the client Information team members as well as liaison with and influence of local finance and IT teams across the network.
Customer Management
· Take a proactive and consultative approach with the network business leaders to understand and deliver on their information needs. Identifying and influencing the choice of solutions ensuring deliverables are practical and commercially viable and meet or exceed customer expectations

The following skills are required for this role: Essential:
· Extensive experience of managing finance systems coupled with an accounting / financial qualification.
· A very high level of IT and systems knowledge is necessary so to enable the post holder to manage system developments and to be able provide direction as to how best retrieve and report financial data.
· Strong project management skills.
· Able to understand the Network financial and Master Data Management systems used to capture and record client data and of the general ledger systems with which they interact. A confident decision-maker. The post holder will have a high degree of autonomy.
· Ability to take top down as well as detail focussed approach. Used to working in a deadline driven environment.
· Continuous improvement mind set
· Ability to multi task across several different projects and initiatives.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to network and interact at the highest level. Credibility and skills to influence and persuade where necessary.
· Able to build a detailed understanding of the way the firm conducts its business and of the products and services it sells and of the strategic initiatives being undertaken.
· Experience of information security / data privacy
