PwC is Northern Ireland's (NI) and the world's largest firm of professional advisors. Over the last three years, our Belfast based Forensic Services team has expanded rapidly, growing to a 200 strong team which provides services to local, national and international clients. Our team provides a broad range of services to clients including litigation support, dispute resolution, in addition to the investigation of financial and non-financial issues which can include economic crime, fraud and corruption. Our team includes accountants, former regulators, civil engineers, linguists, lawyers, and IT specialists and we are part of a global network of over 1700 Forensic Services professionals within the global PwC network.
To contribute to our continuous and ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a number of senior associates and one manager who will concentrate on client engagements that require Forensic Accountant expertise. We are therefore looking for qualified or part qualified accountants with a strong audit background. You will have responsibility for managing projects and drafting reports. In addition, you will be supported, trained and encouraged to build effective relationships and developing new business.
About the role
Working under supervision the role will involve working in teams on a range of projects including investigations, transaction related matters and disputes. The roles require significant flexibility and mobility, with national and international travel sometimes required.
Responsibilities will include:
• Analysis and review of large volumes of data as part of an investigation or dispute. • Report writing. • Presenting and explaining findings in a clear and concise manner. • Dealing with clients and project management. • Limited networking and business development activity

Suitable candidates should demonstrate the following attributes:
• ACA qualified (with a 2:1 degree or equivalent) with experience working in a large professional services firm. Part qualified accountants will also be considered; • Applicants with an audit background are particularly welcome; • Ideally, you will currently be operating at a senior associate level (below manager) or manager position; • Good analytical skills, commercial aptitude and professionally sceptical mindset (ability to identify issues, understand complex problems, draw sound conclusions); • A strong desire to learn, a willingness to share knowledge and a strong team ethic • The ability to coach and develop others; • Enthusiastic, diligent and energetic with a flexible approach in a rapidly changing environment; • A proven track record of providing exceptional service and establishing and maintaining strong relationships; • The ability to manage time, prioritise tasks and work under tight deadlines; • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation skills) as well as the ability to liaise effectively at all levels • Good IT skills with expertise in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Lotus Notes
