Our multinational client in FMCG sector is hiring into the position of

Financial Controlling Manager (Eastern Southern Europe)

Responsible for leading the company’s Eastern Southern Europe financial accounting and control activities. Responsible for creating and maintaining an internal control environment that complies with group policies. Manages all internal and external audits.

FMCG background and experience in leading regional/remote teams IS A MUST.

Feladatok

Manage financial reporting:

• drive/ensure harmonization of processes across the cluster
• compliance with all company finance policies and other guidance/practices including compliance to local GAAP/statutory and other local legal/regulatory requirements

Plan and manage the year-end or other audit processes

Manage and create a secure internal control environment

Coordinate all the compliance reporting

Point of contact for all legal matters of the cluster

Coordinate the cross functional NCFO management for the total cluster and by country

Ensure correct and timely submission of all tax declarations (VAT return, Transfer pricing, etc.)

Elvárások

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar field (Certified Public Accountant certification or equivalent experience is preferred)

5 to 10 years of controlling experience in FMCG sector

At least 3 years in a leadership position

Fluent English is a MUST

Experience with financial statement reporting obligations, including an understanding of GAAP and local regulatory requirements, and internal controls

Deep understanding of financial processes and tax management

Ability to build and lead effective, cross-national teams
