Airbus Helicopters have selected the town of Gyula in the Békés County as the site for a new aerospace enterprise in Hungary. The purpose of the plant is to manufacture high precision metallic elementary parts for the dynamic systems of helicopters for the complete Airbus product range. The production is expected to start in 2021.
In the frame of the set-up of a full autonomous AIRBUS HELICOPTERS (AH) Delivery Unit in Hungary (project call DUMAG), you will be part of activities related to industrial transfers of production of elementary high precision machined parts.
As part of the activity of tooling design and manufacturing for AH products, the Tooling Engineer tasks will be:
For tooling design activities:
- To analyze any industrial topic and find technical solutions,
- To create, modify and criticize tooling 3D and 2D,
- To create tooling user documentation,
- To re-build tooling data from a real part or from an existing tooling (duplication),
- To manage tooling configuration (evolutions, data, archiving).
For tooling manufacturing activities:
- To analyze the needs for tooling,
- To propose estimation of costs, lead-time and technical solutions,
- To write a technical specification (statement of work and functional analysis),
- To launch production and monitor the progress,
- To analyze the tooling studies and promote improvements,
- To manage configuration management for all tooling manufactured,
- To ensure and validate the functional conformity of the delivered tooling and the conformity of the associated documents,
- To ensure the customer satisfaction and the closure of the project until the payment.
Please be informed that the selected engineering team will start the mission in Germany or in France for one year period which will be focused on knowledge transfer.
Elvárások / Requirements
- Technician or Engineer degree with 5 years experiences minimum in tooling design or manufacturing engineering of mechanical parts
- CAD modelling (2D, 3D) and drawing analysis,
- Manufacturing and industrialization technologies for metallic part production,
- Knowledge of aeronautical standards is an advantage
- Calculation of production dimension chains,
- Knowledge of manufacturing, assembly and surface treatments processes,
- Knowledge of tolerance, functional sizing, security and ergonomy standards.
- Ability to work in an international & multicultural environment,
- Ability to build working relationship across multiple disciplines,
- Capacity to anticipate risks and difficulties,
- Capacity to analyze, to propose solutions in a synthetic way,
- Good communication skills,
- Experience in project management.

- CATIA V5, VPM.
- Fluent English language knowledge, German or French would be a plus.
