Pre-sales Solution Architect

Working with Sales, Account Management, Business Partners, Service Delivery, Legal and Finance you will apply your strong outsourcing solution design experience, business expertise, and commercial acumen to develop leading outsource solutions across global clients. This critical role is focused on Solution development and supports the regional and global business by driving increased win rates for new clients and improving portfolio adoption across existing accounts.


  • Build up a strong understanding of all portfolio offerings in order to support the assessment of client requirements, and robustly develop the costing and related documentation; all in order to create a high value service solution to the client
  • You will have experience as a technical and personnel leader supporting organization goals, needs and objectives through operational and strategic oversight/solution development, especially for:
  • End User Services including at least two of the following Workplace Services: Service Desk, Field Services, Endpoint Operations, Asset Management, & Managed Mobility
  • Cloud and Infrastructure Services with a minimum of two of the following portfolio elements: Data Centre, Windows Server Management, Network Services, Citrix and Disaster Recovery
  • Major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and GCP with experience of designing hybrid cloud solutions
  • Ensure that company’ standard solutions are maximized and that Global Sourcing is used in the solution
  • Ensure that company products are considered and that the standard solutioning methodologies for Outsourcing are used in developing the solution
  • Provide and support input for internal (e.g. Deal Reviews) and external (e.g. executive summary) documentation and the creation of the Statement of Work
  • The position requires travel predominately to EU based clients up to 25%

You will be successful in this role if you have the followings:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years’ of relevant Presales and technical experience (eg. Presales Architect / Client Architect, etc.) in the IT industry selling/procuring outsourcing/infrastructure services solutions
  • Solid knowledge of technical services, outsourcing and operational support in the IT enterprise and end-user computing environment
  • Business and industry/market, as well as sales strategies, account/program management, client service delivery and financial analysis background
  • Sound knowledge of ITIL principles

Required language level:

  • English and or another major European language - higher advanced/fit for negotiation
