Aegon Global Technology (AGT) provides IT infrastructure, application and cloud support services to the Aegon business units. AGT is responsible for the provisioning, support and ongoing maintenance of IT operating platforms, applications and services. Additional AGT responsibilities include providing IT infrastructure solutions that are in alignment with business objectives and the AGT technology strategy.

As a member of the Data Analytics and Monitoring Team, you will work on an team helping to deliver Business Value and Outcomes. You will help to develop, test, and implement monitoring and analytic solutions as a shared function in support of driving business value to our customers. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical knowledge and skills, all while working in an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

Developing monitoring solutions in support of IT operations systems, infrastructure, and applications; Cloud and On-premises

Business and technical analysis and architectural review with customers.

Support and deliver using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines (GIT)

Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting

Support the Team and Customers with day-to-day requests, Change and Incident tickets

Ensure automated security is built into each technology stack

Additional Qualifications:

Certification as an Elastic Certified Analyst and/or Elastic Certified Observability Engineer

Knowledge of scripting languages including Powershell, Go, Python, Perl is a plus.

Utilizing machine learning for anomaly detection is a plus.

Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets 

Experience with the ServiceNow and Remedy CMDB platforms

Experience with development in support of workflow/automation

Experience with application performance monitoring (AppDynamics, Elastic APM)

Developing visualization and dashboard capabilities for structured and unstructured data.

Development and testing of alert functionality that monitors data changes

Develop triggered alert functionality to show on-screen alerts and sending events to ITSM and Event Management Platforms (ServiceNow)
