Equipped with your expert knowledge in accounting and a new integrated ERP system, you will be responsible for developing the finance department and its internal processes. Our client is a leading company for services in the live entertainment industry and is looking for a commercial all-rounder in the areas of accounting, cost accounting and controlling.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tailor the finance processes and the department to the needs of the company and of the ERP system in use (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)
  • Monitor and evaluate computerised accounting and provide recommendation to product management for further improvements
  • Establish new standards in cost accounting, management reporting and performance measurement
  • Manage, lead and develop the entire accounting team
  • Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual closing according to local GAAP and group reporting according to IAS/IFRS in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage month-end accounting activities such as settlement processes, reconciliations, journal entries and tax reporting
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting process
  • Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues, determine budget variances and report the same to management and recommend effective resolutions
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, as well as with external consultants
  • Act as a trusted business partner for various stakeholders

YOUR PROFILE:

  • University degree in business administration, majoring in accounting or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of previous professional experience in accounting
  • Excellent understanding of accounting practices, cost accounting and IFRS knowledge
  • Ability to work in a multinational environment
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian, German is a plus
  • Pro-active mindset, strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Experience with an integrated accounting system, especially with Business Central are an advantage
  • IT intelligence and business process knowledge are a plus
  • Strong teamwork spirit with good communication and interpersonal skills
