Environmental Engineer

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer for our newly built factory in Kaposvár.

About the job:

  • Maintaining environmental management services (permits, licenses, declarations, etc.) in accordance with environmental laws and regulations within the scope of legal regulations such as Environmental Permit and License Regulation (IPPC) and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) etc.
  • Following the processes carried out with official institutions
  • Creating environmental programs, monitoring environmental performance indicators on a monthly basis and taking rapid actions to ensure a sustainable environmental system
  • Preparation of environmental reports within the scope of company strategies and targets
  • Gaining knowledge in waste management and carrying out waste recycling projects
  • Providing legal environmental and awareness training
  • Fulfillment of TS EN ISO 14001:2015 requirements
  • Continuing activities and ensuring improvements within the scope of ISO 14001 EMS
  • Preparation of environmental emergency plans


What we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environment Engineering or Ecologist
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within an environmental consulting company or environmental authority.
  • Strong problem solving, planning and follow-up skills
  • Hungarian legislation knowledge is a must
  • Preferably having training certificate and expertise in ISO 14001 EMS
  • Ability to monitor and follow draft legislation, providing proactive updates to the management regarding potential impacts.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing environmental changes within a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations.
