EHS Manager
We are looking for an experienced environmental engineer for our new „greenfield” investor partner. Our partner is going to open a new plant in Debrecen with the aim of gaining a foothold in the Western market.
Feladatok / Tasks
- Reduce the environmental impact of the factory
- Leading of the environmental pillar regarding the company's governance system
- Improve and establish the Health and Safety culture within the company
- Coordinating and record keeping the hazard assessment activities
- Coordinate HSE activities, taking authority in training and educating staff members
- Recognise and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices
- Reduce the waste quantities and the effects of the chemicals
- Analysing of risk valuation, near miss and accident data
- Keep contact with the local authorities
Requirements:
- College/University degree in environmental engineering
- Numerous years of experience in manufacturing
- Fluent English language skills (both written and spoken)
- Outstanding communication skills
- Proactive temperament
- Leastwise 2 years of experience in a management position (preferably in EHS field)
- Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety systems, regulations, and activities
