DEPUTY HEAD OF CHANGE MANAGEMENT UNIT - Bristol
To enable successful delivery of the Police and Crime Plan in a challenging financial environment, Avon and Somerset Constabulary is undertaking significant change. To support us through this period we are looking to appoint a Deputy Head for the Unit, who will lead on developing and embedding new programme office processes and procedures across the organisation.
It is desirable that you have extensive experience of introducing and implementing change through structured programme management techniques, such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) or PRINCE 2. You will also need considerable experience of benefits and risk management, resource management and capacity planning. It would be desirable to have experience of portfolio management work, including knowledge of Portfolio, Programme and Project Office (P3O) processes.
You will lead by example and provide professional development for the team and therefore experience of managing people is required.
For this position you will need a full and current driving licence or be able to travel around the region using alternative transport.
Interviews are scheduled to take place weeks commencing 27th January and 3rd February 2014.
