  • To provide technical leadership to the Operational teams including Storage, Backup, Application, Infrastructure, Oracle, and SQL DBA support
  • To promote a proactive focus on E2E service 
  • To take ownership of the consolidated technical response to major incidents where severe impact on the user community is encountered, and direct proceedings to recover service
  • To provide an understanding of the service and business impact of any major issue and communicate to all parties as appropriate
  • To build a strong link between the ITMS Hub and in country technical support peers to ensure services are delivered consistently and efficiently to all ITMS customer contracts 
  • To gain and maintain a detailed understanding of the end to end service solution in place for the specific ITMS contracts supported both from the strategic hubs, and interface with the ITMS functional technical support teams in country to ensure their knowledge remains current and to a high standard
  • Ensure procedures and working practices conform to ITIL standard
  • Has responsibility for maintaining a low risk profile to the Service Operations Technical Management
  • Manage the key technical elements of the service to prevent service impacting issues proactivel
  • Interface and direct design and delivery organisations to ensure operability of new deployment

  • 4+ years Storage, Backup, Network, infrastructure and database technologies experience
  • ITIL foundation accredited
  • Detailed technical experience multiple service oriented areas – expectation of 6+ years of senior relevant technical experience
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to drive and inspire technical resources
  • Detailed Service, Application knowledge specific to the customer related services
  • Strong Leadership
  • Staff Management
  • Excellent Customer relationship skills
  • Service mind-set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German AND English

  • ITIL Certification
  • Oracle DB Certification
